Insurance & Funding Options
Health insurance
Many private health insurers cover speech and language therapy. Check your policy — I can provide invoices and reports in the format most insurers require.
NHS vs private
NHS waiting times in Northern Ireland can be lengthy. Private therapy can begin much sooner, with more frequent sessions and a more flexible schedule. Some families use private therapy to complement NHS input, or to get started while waiting for an NHS appointment.
EHCP funding
If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), funding may be available to cover private therapy. I can provide detailed reports to support EHCP applications and annual reviews.
